Don’t waste your time and money trying BP Zone supplement for your blood pressure/hypertension issues because it is a scam! This supplement is made by Zenith Labs, the same company behind many scams that Contra Health Scam has effectively exposed over the years. So don’t think for a second that you have stumbled on the supplement that will permanently solve your high blood pressure issues because this supplement isn’t it! So without wasting much time, let’s talk about all you need to know about BP Zone, shall we?
BP Zone was launched around November 2020. It claims to be the supplement that will finally help you get rid of your blood pressure problems for good. According to the owner Dr. Ryan Shelton, his supplement has the same formula Boston firefighters use to lower their blood pressure brought upon them by the stress of their job. He claims that this formula was developed by ‘Harvard doctors’ and so far, ‘over 15,000 men and women’ have successfully used it to lower their blood pressure. He says that his method has nothing to do with correcting the common causes of high blood pressure, but it’s all about unlocking some ‘blood pressure valve’ in your kidneys.
What BP Zone Will Supposedly Do For You
According to Dr. Ryan Shelton, here are the things BP Zone will do for you:
- “Lower [your] systolic and diastolic blood pressure by as much as 10 to 20 points”
- “Finally stop worrying about the ‘silent enemy’ of heart health, even if it runs in [your] family”
- “Feel more stress-free and easy-going all day long”
- “Sleep better at night, relaxed and content”
- “Surprise” your doctor when you go in for an appointment and get your blood pressure tested
- “Enjoy more of [your] favorite foods without worry”
- “…quit feeling like [you] have an invisible, permanent problem that’ll never go away…”
Interesting.
So what is the science backing this supplement?
Science Behind BP Zone Supplement
Dr. Ryan Shelton begins by telling us that “the root problem behind blood pressure issues is NOT your heart, or clogged arteries, or your belly fat.” Instead, he says that the main problem is a blocked ‘blood pressure release valve’ in your kidneys.
After briefly explaining how the so-called blood pressure valve works to relieve blood pressure, Dr. Shelton goes on to claim that the reason why the valve is not working properly is because of the activities of a “‘thirsty’ protein inside your kidneys.” What’s the name of the protein in question? “Thiazide Sensitive Sodium Chloride Cotransporter Proteins” or TSC Proteins for short.
According to Dr. Shelton, TSC proteins function as water retainers, that is, they hold onto water. The kidneys normally remove excess fluid from the body to prevent high blood pressure. But Shelton says that overproduction of TSC proteins by the body leads to excessive water retention, which ultimately defeats the kidneys by shutting down the ‘blood pressure release valve,’ leading to high blood pressure.
So to ‘reactivate’ your blood pressure release valve and reduce high blood pressure, Shelton claims that all you have to do is to “deactivate these out-of-control ‘thirsty’ TSC Proteins.’ He goes on to claim that once these proteins are deactivated, your blood pressure will go down even if you have other risk factors like excess fat, high-salt diet, plaque buildup in blood vessels, and physical inactivity.
Wow.
How BP Zone Supplement Works
Of course, BP Zone works by deactivating the “thirsty” TSC proteins, reopening your kidneys’ “blood pressure release valve” in the process. Apart from that, however, Dr. Shelton claims that his BP Zone supplement can also:
- “Block nasty oxidants before they can scratch and harden your arteries and blood vessels…”
- “Replenish nitric oxide so your blood vessels can relax and dilate…”
- “Improve the function of the muscles around blood vessels and arteries…”
- “Make your blood platelets easily slide through your network of veins and arteries…”
- “Help your kidneys better control blood pressure fluctuations naturally…”
- “Lower your stress response by improving your cortisol levels…”
BP Zone claims to achieve all these because of the ingredients it contains. Let’s look at them, shall we?
Ingredients of BP Zone Supplement
The ingredients of BP Zone supplement include:
- Saffron Crocus flower Extract (Chief ingredient. This will supposedly deactivate the TSC proteins in your kidneys by binding to them)
- Garlic
- Hawthorn
- Arjuna
- Hibiscus
- Danshen
- Ginger
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- L-Theanine
- CoQ10
- Taurine
- Berberine hydrochloride
Of course, these ingredients are well known and touted to have many health benefits. But that’s exactly what Dr. Shelton is trying to use to sell his scam. But don’t worry. I’ll soon show you why you’re better off using something else other than this product!
How Much Does it Cost?
A bottle of BP Zone costs $59. There are two other plans:
- 3 bottles at $45 per bottle
- 6 bottles at $39 per bottle
Only the 6-bottle plan comes with ‘free shipping’ but all plans are covered with what Dr. Shelton calls a ‘6-month moneyback guarantee.’ But if I were you, I won’t hold my breath. It’s best to avoid buying this product in the first place because scammers are not known for issuing refunds!
Now to the fun part. Why is BP Zone supplement a scam?
1. Dr. Ryan Shelton is Fraudulent and Untrustworthy
I have done a detailed bio of Dr. Ryan Shelton in my review of Zenith Hearing X3 – which is just one of his many health scams. Basically, he is a well-known scammer who was behind Spark Health Media, a notorious scam empire that was eventually taken down thanks in part to Contra Health Scam’s devastating reviews.
So to say that Ryan Shelton is someone you shouldn’t trust is an understatement. Avoid his products at all costs!
2. Zenith Labs is A Shady Company
I have also talked about Zenith Labs in my Zenith Hearing X3 review. Basically, this company is the direct successor of the aforementioned Spark Health Media, and they have been caught lying about their certifications. So rest assured that you are dealing with a shady company owned by a known fraudster!
3. Fake, Unverifiable Testimonials.
BP Zone features a bunch of testimonials that we are meant to believe is real and genuine. Granted, the videos and photo testimonials are untraceable, but there is no way I’m going to believe that they are genuine. This is because I have caught Ryan Shelton several times using stock photos and videos as testimonials in his other products (see my Vision 20 review as an example). What makes you think that he has turned a new leaf now? I highly doubt it!
4. Scientific Basis is Full of Hype and Lies
As I mentioned earlier, Dr. Shelton claims that the main cause of high blood pressure is overactive TSC Proteins in your kidneys. He claims that TSC Proteins (also known as Sodium Chloride Symporter) function by holding on to water, which isn’t true. TSC Proteins, as the name suggests, function by reabsorbing sodium chloride (salt) from the kidneys into the bloodstream.
Now it’s true that overactive TSC Proteins lead to high blood pressure. But Shelton failed to tell you that overactive TSC Proteins actually lead to Gordon’s syndrome. Gordon’s syndrome, or Type 2 Pseudohypoaldosteronism, is a genetic disease that can be managed with thiazide diuretics. So by claiming that ‘thirsty’ TSC Proteins are the ‘root’ cause of high blood pressure, Shelton is basically saying that everyone with high blood pressure has Gordon’s syndrome – which is obviously not true!
Don’t get me started on his claims about the Saffron Crocus flower extract. According to him, this extract will bind to the TSC Proteins, thereby stopping their excesses and reducing blood pressure. The truth, however, is that there is no reliable evidence that shows saffron lowering blood pressure in humans. The only positive studies I found experimented on lab mice. Besides, there is no indication anywhere that saffron can bind to TSC proteins. Available studies claim that saffron may lower blood pressure by blocking calcium channels.
So as you can see, Dr. Shelton is lying to you. Can’t say I’m surprised!
