Don’t waste your money buying ‘Diabetes Destroyer’ by David Andrews because it is a scam! In fact, this long-standing scam went as far as insulting the medical profession by passing off doctors as idiots who know nothing about how to cure Type 2 Diabetes.
Created in December 2014, Diabetes Destroyer (link to website) claims to contain information about ways and methods you can use to ‘jumpstart your pancreas’ to start producing insulin which, in turn, will reverse your Type 2 diabetes. But one thing this so-called wonder eBook missed is that Type 2 diabetes is NOT caused by lack of insulin, but the body’s inability to recognize and use insulin!
In order to prove that Diabetes Destroyer is a scam, I have to go back to the basics and that is: Who is David Andrews? The answer is: A GHOST. He does NOT exist!
Don’t be deceived by that lame ‘I’m 51, I have a wife and 2 children, and I’m the head chef at a 5-star restaurant near Washington D.C.’ description put up on the website. What exactly is the name of the ‘5-star restaurant’? You can’t even find his photo on his website (believe me, that photo on the book cover is NOT him, and the background photo of the website is clearly a stock image.) How come he is not brave enough to put his face where his mouth (and money) is? Do a simple Google search for the guy, and you will not find a single social media profile of the guy who is ‘positively’ changing the lives of Type 2 diabetes patients. Even if he were real, ask yourself this question: Does a chef know how to better manage diabetes than a doctor or dietitian? (Mind you, dietitians are specialist medical doctors.)
The one thing that I particularly loathe so much about this scam is the way it psychologically attacked the prospective buyers (all of whom are above 40 years old) with the sole purpose of scaring them into buying the eBook. ‘We have to amputate your legs. Today.’ What a way of beginning a presentation video. And it gets worse from there.

After telling a sob story of how his doctor gave him a year to live if he does not allow him to amputate his legs and how his wife and daughter started crying for the legs to be saved, Andrews goes on to give a list of demoralizing statistics of what diabetes can lead to (Alzheimer’s, dementia, heart attack, cancer, etc) before lambasting doctors for prescribing drugs that ‘only manage the symptoms… while ignoring the real cause of the disease.’ There is even a section in the book called, ‘What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Your Type 2 Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes.’ Like, seriously?
This stupid eBook claims to base on the research of Dr Roy Taylor from University of Newcastle, UK, who indeed discovered that Type 2 diabetes can be reversed. However, for that to happen, you must change your lifestyle (no smoking/alcohol, no junk food, lose weight, etc) … and they is a lot of information about how to achieve all these, which is available free of charge online. As far as I’m concerned, the Diabetes Destroyer contains information stolen from online sources, hence nothing new to change anything concerning what we already know about the disease.
Returning to the psychological assault, Andrews tries to convince you to buy his book because if you don’t, ‘until the day you die, you’ll be a burden on your friends and family.’ He then asks, ‘How long until your foot won’t stop tingling, and then goes completely numb? How long until the doctor tells you they have to cut it off?’
Finally, when you decide you’ve had enough mental torture and want to leave, an annoying pop-up springs out and prevents you from leaving. Then you are offered a $10 discount, three ‘premium’ programs ‘for free’, as well as a warning not to share the page because it is ‘available by invite only.’ Utter nonsense. Check back again and again, and the same ‘invite only’ page will keep popping up offering you the same thing. Anybody who is confident that his health product is indeed the real thing will NEVER prevent you from leaving his website. Please have that in mind.
Stay away from this crap guys, it is a scam! Type 2 diabetes can indeed be reversed, but not by using Diabetes Destroyer! Just keep eating right, live an active, healthy life without smoking and alcohol, follow your doctor’s recommendations and you’ll be fine. Don’t allow scammers like this to play mind-games on you! Be strong and courageous in this fight, as diabetes is not a death sentence.
Final Recommendation: DON’T BUY Diabetes Destroyer!
Again, if you have used Diabetes Destroyer, I would like to hear from you. Did it work or not? Also don’t forget to share this review to those who need to see it, so that they too will be warned!
Thanks for the honest review, I have a natural inclination to not put any faith in products recommended by Dr. Oz. He is, in my humble, amateur opinion an insult to Doctors everywhere. I read and or scanned dozens of “testimonies” on the “Diabetes Destroyer” and much to my surprise they were all “great”. This instantly runs up a red flag for me, then following the research of others find that the Doctor/Chef you found this fantastic cure doesn’t even exist. I believe Type 2 Diabetes can be cured or drastically reduced by dietary means accompanied with exercise. It is sad to see all the hokum, smoke and mirrors etc. on the internet….
Yes; David Andrews became a pain (MR UPSELL HIMSELF!!)
BUT Troy Adashun, who did all the videos, was EXCELLENT and INFORMATIVE; I learned a lot by watching his videos; I am sorry they seem to be attached to Mr Andrews, and the quality of the videos wasnt so great, so I asked for my money back, and it was returned immediatley. Thank you clickback!
PS I learned and put into practice some of the things taught, so for me it wasn’t a blacklist.
This is a total scam. I tried it and it raised my numbers plus made me sick. I had to miss work. When I tried to contact them surprise no reply. Stay Away!
This has become a matter of serious concern. The disease is also known as the ‘Silent Killer’. The reason for giving the disease this name is because millions of people are affected by diabetes but they can’t even tell that they are suffering from this disease until and unless they are diagnosed with it.
Your opening statement criticizes Anderson for: “…passing off doctors as idiots who know nothing about how to cure Type 2 Diabetes.” Are there, in fact, any doctors who know how to CURE Type 2 Diabetes? If so, please offer your referral as I’ve found only Doctors who can claim nothing more than to prescribe medications to help manage the symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes, which of course is a far cry from an actual cure.
I feel exactly like you! And the fact that my husband and I DID buy the destroyer plan…and it worked. See the the way it works is that you do the plan exactly. My husband was diagnosed with type 2diabetes last year found the plan used it and it WORKED…his Dr. had his mouth open in surprise and said keep doing the plan..it’s working! But he has a good doctor..hard to find today..
What you are saying for which you are very well entitled to is the most nonsensical mumble-jumble as you are non other than one of those stooges he’d made mention of that has been bribed by the big pharmas!
You had neither profered any scientific doctrine to back up your assault on Andrew David’s view nor any rational scientific reason why anyone should have any desire to even gross over your opinion!
Hello Doc,
All the ‘nonsensical mumble-jumble’ I said in this review are facts taken from the Diabetes Destroyer website … which only proves that the product is a scam. And for your information, I’m not a paid ‘big pharma’ puppet. I have a mind of my own.
Again, I’m not stopping you from buying the program. If you think that all I’m saying is ‘nonsensical mumble-jumble’ not worth considering, then by all means go ahead and try Diabetes Destroyer. I’ll also appreciate your honest feedback after using the program.
And what is the cure again, doctors, SCAM are just rounding the bush…
I am not supporting the so called David Andrews…but am asking for you clean/qualified doctors to come up with the cure and not trying to show what your books gave you…we need a solution and not stories!!!!
