Keep your distance from Lean Belly 3X weight loss supplement by Shaun Hadsall because it is a scam! I have reviewed Hadsall’s weight loss programs before on this blog (see Over 40 Ab Solution and Over 40 Hormone Reset Diet) and his latest product is just as bad. In this review, you’re going to find out why I said this, and you’re going to find out even more incredible facts about this product that will surely keep you away from it. So let’s begin!
Lean Belly 3x (aka Beyond 40) supplement was launched around September 2020. According to Hadsall, this supplement helped his 60-year-old wife Karen to lose 22 pounds ‘in less than 8 weeks.’ He also claims that he too used the supplement n himself to shed what he calls ‘death fat’ … thereby achieving ‘the best shape of my life’ in just 10 weeks. He attributes this incredible feat to the ‘secret’ contained in one ‘beautiful yellow flower from Asia’ which he supposedly discovered ‘by accident’ in an Asian doctor’s office.
So how did he luckily discover this wonder-working ‘little flower’? Let’s find out in the backstory, shall we?
Backstory of Lean Belly 3X
If you have read my previous reviews of Hadsall’s programs, you should already be familiar with how he begins his backstories: He begins by telling us of his wife Karen’s battle with colorectal cancer and how it led to her reaching premature menopause and accumulating unwanted fat. Then he tries to make the stories different by claiming that his wife used some ‘secret’ or ‘missing link’ to shed those pounds. Then he points you to some scientific studies supposedly proving his claims and finally, he urges you to buy his programs.
The backstory of Lean Belly 3X follows the same template: Karen battled with cancer, leading to premature menopause, accumulation of fat, and other associated health problems. After numerous failed attempts to lose weight, a depressed Karen had a car accident and landed in the hospital. This near tragedy prompts Mr. Hadsall to set out on a mission to help his wife lose weight.
Conveniently, Hadsall and his wife happened to spot a photo of the miracle, ‘little yellow flower from Asia’ hanging on the wall in their Asian doctor’s office. This Asian doctor, ‘Dr. Chan’, hands him a pamphlet containing a picture of the flower. Sometime later, he desperately studied the pamphlet … and that’s how he discovered the fat-burning ‘secret’ which has been hidden from you by Big Pharma and their cronies in order to keep fleecing you. Somehow, he was able to transform this ‘secret’ into a supplement with Dr. Chan’s help. He then gave it to his wife, who ‘lost 7 pounds of visceral “death fat” in just 7 days’. In total, she lost 22 pounds in ‘a few weeks.’ Now he wants you to buy it if you want to get the same results as her.
As I’ll prove later, this backstory makes no sense. In the meantime, however, let’s see the science behind Hadsall’s supplement, shall we?
Science Behind Lean Belly 3X
According to Shaun Hadsall, his research revealed that there are ‘two root causes’ of weight gain in people over 40 years old – and they happen to be the culprit behind his wife Karen’s weight loss woes. These ‘root causes’ are:
- Insulin resistance because all the bad foods (like processed, ‘low-fat’ foods) we have been conditioned by ‘Big Food conglomerates’ to eat
- Failure ‘to consume enough of this special SUPER FAT found inside that magical yellow flower from Asia.’
As you can guess, all Karen had to do to shed all the pounds was to eliminate the bad foods and start consuming adequate amounts of this ‘SUPER FAT’ from the miracle yellow flower (aka safflower). Now, what’s the name of this ‘SUPER FAT’? Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA).
Of course, Hadsall didn’t forget to use some scientific studies to back up his obviously exaggerated claims about the miracle, weight loss-inducing effects of CLA. We’ll discuss it in detail later in the fun part of this review so keep reading!
Ingredients of Lean Belly 3X
The ingredients of Lean Belly 3X include:
- Conjugated Linoleic acid from safflower oil
- Bioperine
That’s it.
How Much Does It Cost?
A bottle of Lean Belly 3X costs $59. There are two other plans:
- 3-month supply (3 bottles) at $49 each
- 6-month supply (6 bottles) at $39 each
These offers come with a 60-Day money-back guarantee, which is actually a mandatory refund policy of its retailer Clickbank. So should you decide to get a refund, you’ll definitely get it if you contact Clickbank directly.
Now to the fun part. Why is Lean Belly 3X a scam?
1. Shaun Hadsall is Highly Untrustworthy
As I mentioned earlier, I have covered in detail the profile of Shaun Hadsall in my review of his older program Over 40 Ab Solution so head over there if you want to know more about him. What I want to highlight, however, is that Hadsall is not someone whose claims you should believe. This is because I have exposed him several times misinterpreting and – in the case of his previous program Over 40 Hormone Reset Diet – flat-out doctoring scientific data in order to sell his product. He’s also fond of making claims the scientific studies he cites never made and on several occasions, he even uses completely-unrelated scientific studies to prove his claims.
One other thing he does in other to prove his backstory is even more egregious … and it deserves its own section. Let’s talk about it!
2. Shaun Hadsall Keeps Recycling Old Testimonial Photos of His Wife To Sell New Supplement
In Lean Belly 3X, Shaun Hadsall provided us with testimonial photos of his 60-year-old wife in order to prove that his new supplement works:
The big problem is that these photos are not new. In fact, Hadsall has been using these photos since at least 2010 to promote his different weight loss programs. I documented this fact, complete with screenshots like the one above, in my Over 40 Ab Solution review and I encourage you to check it out. There, you’ll find out that Hadsall couldn’t defend his recycling of his wife’s old testimonial photos to sell his new programs.
This is an important finding that seriously calls into question the efficacy of Lean Belly 3X. Essentially, it means three things:
- Karen did NOT use Lean Belly 3X to lose weight
- Shaun Hadsall is lying
- Lean Belly 3X cannot help you lose weight.
3. Inconsistent Backstory
Another thing Hadsall excels at is in telling inconsistent backstories about his products. As I mentioned earlier, Hadsall is fond of telling us about his wife Karen’s battle with cancer and early menopause. But each time, he is never consistent about how his wife eventually lost weight or how much weight she lost. In short,
- At Over 40 Ab Solution, Hadsall told us that Karen lost weight by doing a specific workout routine (which he called ‘the missing link.’)
- Then at Over 40 Hormone Reset Diet, he told us that Karen lost weight using a ‘long-forgotten 1-Day Hormone-Resetting Diet Secret.’
- Now here at Lean Belly 3X, Hadsall is telling us that Karen lost weight by using the Lean Belly 3X supplement.
- With Over 40 Ab Solution, Karen lost 22 pounds in 10 weeks. Then with Over 40 Hormone Reset Diet, she lost 22 pounds in 10 days. Now with Lean Belly 3X supplement, Karen lost 30 pounds in 8 weeks (in the video presentation) or 22 pounds in 8 weeks (text version of the website).
Remember, he made these different weight loss claims about his wife on different weight loss programs while using the SAME testimonial photos of her on all of them. This kind of inconsistency can only come from someone who is not telling you the truth and I strongly advise you NOT to do business with people who behave like this!
4. Misuses Scientific Studies To Sell Scam
Hadsall is fond of pointing his potential customers to the scientific studies he cited because he wants to give off the impression that his product is well-researched and backed up by the latest science. I have dug deep into his references in my previous reviews of his programs and each time, I discovered that he either misinterprets them, omits important information, or flat-out exaggerates the findings. Lean Belly 3X is no different, and I’ll show you just a few examples to prove my point.
4.1. Misinterprets Scientific Studies About Conjugated Linoleic Acid
Hadsall claims that Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) ‘increases your belly-fat-burning capacity up to 400%.’ To prove it, he first cited this scientific study which, according to him, discovered that ‘the conjugated linoleic acid group lost 20% of their body fat while the placebo group lost no fat at all.’ But if you read the study itself, you’ll see that the researchers actually said, ‘Body fat, measured using near-infrared light, was significantly reduced in the CLA group during the study, but not in the placebo group.’ The researchers NEVER said that those who took CLA ‘lost 20% of their body fat’! On top of that, Hadsall failed to inform you that the participants’ weight did NOT change despite the supposed ‘significant’ loss of body fat.
Still on the ‘400%’ claim, Hadsall cited this study which, according to him, found that those on CLA ‘lost 400% more fat than the placebo group over the course of 12 weeks.’ But if you read the study, you’ll discover that the researchers stated that the participants lost only 3.8% of body fat. There was NO talk of losing ‘400% more fat!’ Again, Hadsall failed to inform you that the participant’s weight did NOT change despite the loss of fat.
Hadsall also cited this scientific study which he claims found that the people on placebo ‘gained weight’ when compared to the CLA group who ‘lost 8.7% of their body fat.’ But as you can see from that study, the researchers did NOT say anything about their placebo group gaining weight.
So like I said, Hadsall is fond of misinterpreting and exaggerating scientific studies, further proving how untrustworthy he is when it comes to telling you the truth about his products.
4.2. Omits Important Information About Conjugated Linoleic Acid
As I noted earlier, Hadsall failed to tell you that the studies he cited state that conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) did NOT cause any changes in body weight despite causing a reduction in body fat. Now, why is this important? Because this fact alone indicates that CLA does NOT lead to weight loss … which calls into question Hadsall’s claim that his wife Karen lost 22 pounds in 8 weeks (or in the video presentation, 30 pounds in 8 weeks) using his CLA supplement.
For some reason, Hadsall failed to tell you that most of the studies he cited were carried out on healthy individuals, meaning that the results they found may not apply to sick people. His backstory, however, gives us the impression that his wife was sick. In fact, he told us that his wife was diagnosed two months earlier with ‘severe ovary damage’ and ‘excess amounts of a deadly type of fat called Acute Visceral Adipose Tissue – also known as AVAT….’ He even claims that his wife’s doctor told her that she only had ‘a 12% chance of making it.’ Does that describe a healthy woman?
Final Conclusion: DON’T BUY Lean Belly 3X Supplement. It is A SCAM!
Blacklisted Website: Beyond40.com
As you have seen, Hadsall’s presentation is full of lies and deception, which shouldn’t surprise you if you had read my reviews of his older products. He also included a bunch of testimonials but I just can’t believe those people testifying about the greatness of his supplement. He couldn’t even resist the temptation of recycling old testimonial photos he previously used on his older programs to sell Lean Belly 3X!
