Don’t waste your time and money trying ProMind Complex supplement by ‘Carl Henderson’ for your memory loss because it is a scam! In this review, you are going to find out all you need to know about this supplement and all the reasons why you should keep your distance from it. So sit back, put on your reading glasses (If you use one) and let’s begin!
ProMind Complex was launched at around August 2020. It claims to be the supplement that will reverse your memory loss ‘in three short weeks.’ According to Mr Henderson, this supplement is so powerful that it can even reverse memory loss caused by incurable diseases like Alzheimer’s. In fact, he claims that he used this supplement to permanently reverse his wife’s memory loss, which was caused by Alzheimer’s disease.
Mr Henderson goes on to tell us this crazy backstory of how he discovered this miracle supplement. Let’s look into it, shall we?
Backstory of ProMind Plus Supplement
Carl Henderson begins by telling us that his wife Lisa was having ‘innocent’ memory issues before ‘suddenly’ developing ‘full-blown Alzheimer’s. He then proceeds to tell us this harrowing story of how his wife forgot their 2-year old grandson in their ‘boiling hot car’ under the 120-degrees (Fahrenheit) Texas heat for over 2 hours – ‘almost roasting him to death’ in the process. Of course, she was arrested for it … and the poor kid spent some time in a coma, leaving him and his family ‘in tears.’ She was then diagnosed with ‘advanced form of Alzheimer’s.’
This scary incident and his wife’s resulting depression was what prompted Henderson into action to find a permanent cure of his wife’s memory issues. He begins by consulting ‘world renowned doctors and brain experts,’ but none of them had a clue on how to treat Alzheimer’s. Then out of nowhere, he suddenly discovers that Alzheimer’s disease was caused by a certain bacteria which causes infection of your gums (more in the next section).
Armed with this information, Mr Henderson contacts a certain ‘Dr Jack Lane’ who helped him gather plant-based ingredients which he believes will fight this bacteria and reverse the brain damage it causes. This is what he used to ‘save’ his wife from Alzheimer’s. Now he wants you to save your own memory by buying his supplement.
Science Behind ProMind Complex
According to Carl Henderson, ‘memory loss doesn’t happen because of genetics, age, or a bad lifestyle.’ Instead, he claims that ‘all memory problems are all caused by this one common bacteria in your body.’
To prove this insane claim, Henderson points us to this study stating that toxic enzymes produced by the bacterium Porphyromonas gingivalis is toxic to brain neurons and can damage tau, the protein whose malfunction leads to memory issues like Alzheimer’s disease. The study goes on to say that neutralizing these enzymes ‘could be valuable for treating P. gingivalis brain colonization and neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease.’
For those who do not know. P. gingivalis is the bacteria species which is the main cause of chronic periodontitis, an infection of your gums. If left untreated, this infection can lead to serious problems like loss of teeth and worse, the bacteria can get to your brain and cause problems, like memory loss.
Nowhere in the study did the researchers suggest that this bacterium is the cause of Alzheimer’s disease, let alone ‘all memory problems.’ But that didn’t stop Henderson from making the claims anyway. He goes further to claim that his supplement will effectively get rid of this bacterium for good because of the ingredients it contains. So let’s look at these ingredients, shall we?
Ingredients of ProMind Complex
The ingredients of ProMind Complex include:
- Gingko biloba
- St John’s Wort
- Bacopa monnieri
Some of these ingredients (Huperzine, Vinpocetine, Gingko Biloba) are normally used as ‘neuroprotectors’ or ‘nootrops’ and can be effective in improving memory. But there is no evidence showing that they actually reverse Alzheimer’s disease like Mr Henderson is claiming. Besides, most of these ingredients are not in their recommended dose and St John’s Wort is notorious for interfering with other drugs.
How Much Does it Cost?
A bottle of ProMind Complex costs $69. There are two other plans:
- 3-bottle plan for $177
- 6-bottle plan costing $294
Each plan comes with ‘free shipping’ for those in the United States, and are covered by ’60 days moneyback guarantee.’ The reality, however, is that this policy belongs to ClickBank, the retailer. So I’m pretty certain that if you request for a refund by directly contacting ClickBank, you’ll get your money back in no time.
Now to the fun part. Why is ProMind Complex a scam?
1. Carl Henderson is Unverifiable (Does NOT Exist)
Carl Henderson says that he was ‘a psychology professor with a PhD.’ Apart from the other hint that he lives somewhere in Texas with his wife, there is no other information about him.
Good luck finding him anywhere on social media. In fact, the photo passed off as him is untraceable. My guess is that it belongs to a paid actor.
If I were you though, I won’t even bother looking for this man. Waste of time!
2. Fake Testimonials with Stock Photos
ProMind Complex features a lone testimonial on its website. The testimonial is supposedly from one ‘George H.’, a 79-year old man from Florida. However, the adorable photo purported to be of the man is actually a stock photo you can buy from Adobe Stock and Deposit Photos. So don’t think for a second that the testimonial is true. It is fake!
3. Oversimplifies the Causes of Memory Loss to Sell Scam
As I mentioned earlier, Mr Henderson claims that ‘memory loss doesn’t happen because of genetics, age, or a bad lifestyle.’ Instead, he fingers P. gingivalis as the cause of ‘all memory problems,’ including his wife’s supposed Alzheimer’s disease.
Now this is both false and a gross oversimplification. The truth is, most memory loss issues have everything to do with your genetics. In fact, it is well known that people with some subtypes of APOE gene are at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease later in their lives. Age and lifestyle choices also contribute heavily to memory loss. Saying that they don’t is outright ridiculous and only proves how clueless the scammers behind ProMind Complex are!
The study Henderson cited to prove his P.gingivalis claim never said that the bacteria species is the cause of ‘all memory loss.’ Instead, it merely stated that the bacteria may cause neuronal damage if it enters the brain. Many people with memory issues do NOT have gum infection which allows this bacterium to get to the brain in the first place!
Final Conclusion: DON’T BUY ProMind Complex Supplement. It is A SCAM!
Blacklisted Website: Promindcomplex.com
In conclusion, ProMind Complex is a scam full of lies and deceit. It will NOT cure your memory loss!
You’re better off sticking to your doctor and qualified therapist. They are the most qualified to give you the treatment you need.
