Hello esteemed reader!
My name is Obinna Ossai, and I’m a medical doctor. At the time of starting this blog (March 2016), I was in my 5th year of study in Zaporizhia State Medical University, Ukraine. Now I’m a resident doctor in the Department of Neurology under the same university.
I started ContraHealthScam.com after stumbling upon a viral, 2-year old website selling a diabetes eBook. After going through that website and discovering that the person behind it is not just a nonexistent fellow but also an identity thief, I decided to check online to see if anyone else knew this fact.
To my surprise and dismay, not a single authority website or blog bothered to expose this website, yet it was being highly advertised everywhere on the Internet by money-hungry affiliates who absolutely don’t give a crap about the horrible impact it is having on already sick people looking for a cure. It did not take me long to discover that these authority blogs only post generalized stuff like ‘How to Spot Health Scams’ and nothing more … and clearly, it has done nothing to stop this business from booming.
I’m always in the hospital and I’ve seen patients struggle for their lives, and it breaks my heart to see these wicked scammers making millions of dollars at the expense of desperate, suffering patients, who end up losing their money and not getting a cure. This is the reason why ContraHealthScam.com was established – to expose these scams, warn the patients and ultimately, put the scammers out of business!
So far since its inception, reviews from Contra Health Scam have contributed to the demise of so many popular health scams and counting. This, of course, comes with a price, as my site takes a big hit once these scams are exposed (blackhat SEO tactics by the scammers designed to de-rank the website so people can’t find it, financial loss due to constant attacks and reduced traffic once these scams finally die as they should, etc). But despite the challenges, Contra Health Scam remains committed to the cause … and is not going away anytime soon!
Contra Health Scam has been recognized by numerous credible publications including Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Africa Independent Television (AIT Nigeria) and Punch Newspapers (Nigeria). Contra Health Scam has also become a valuable resource for members of health forums like Tinnitus Talk and Diabetes.co.uk.
