7 Steps to Health & The Big Diabetes Lie by the so-called International Council For Truth in Medicine (ICTM) is nothing but a viral, long-running, unchecked scam by an identity thief! Contra Health Scam has uncovered a long list of evidence backing up this verdict and I’m 100% sure that they are more than enough to make you stay away from this product!
Formerly known as DisarmDiabetes.com, the ICTM website, according to WHOis.net, was created in January 2013 by someone from Queensland, Australia. It is hawking a 500+ page eBook that claims to have information that big pharmaceutical companies are allegedly hiding from people with diabetes. It claims to be partners with NaturalNews.com, a news website known for advocating against the use of synthetic chemicals on foodstuff and drugs.
However, don’t be deceived by the fake reviews by greedy affiliates trying to earn Clickbank commissions. The Big Diabetes Lie is a scam and below is the list of evidence:
1. ICTM Does NOT Exist!
Do a search of ICTM or ‘International Council for Truth In Medicine’ using any search engine and you’ll see that it is not a registered medical organization and is not mentioned in any authority medical portals. The only places it is mentioned are on affiliate blogs marketing The Big Diabetes Lie and the website itself.
2. The ‘Creator’ of ICTM is An Identity Thief!
‘Dr. Max Sidorov,’ the supposed founder and leader of ICTM, does NOT exist! The owner of this scam stole the identity of Max Sidorov, a 29-year old Ukrainian-born nutritionist living in Toronto, Canada. Sidorov made headlines in 2012 after helping to raise over $700k for an old woman who was bullied by a bunch of school boys in a bus. This brazen scammer actually put a ‘Max in the News’ section on his website linking to the news articles, essentially claiming that he was the one who helped the old woman!
Meanwhile, the real Sidorov has profiles on Facebook and Twitter, and both do not mention ICTM or The Big Diabetes Lie.

UPDATE December 6, 2018: Turns out that this is not technically an identity theft afterall: Two years after this review went up, Max Sidorov updated his page claiming ownership of a shady organization called ITMC (international Truth in Medicine Council), a shady, unregistered organization that pumps out scams like The Heart Disease Lie. So it’s safe to assume that Max Sidorov is indeed behind The Big Diabetes Lie too.
3. ICTM NOT Partners with NaturalNews.com
On the top of their page, you’ll see ‘in partnership with NaturalNews.com…’ proudly displayed alongside the images of the so-called ‘doctors’ of ICTM. Well I checked at NaturalNews.com and surprise surprise… neither The Big Diabetes Lie nor ICTM is mentioned anywhere on their site!

4. Fake Testimonials. Fiverr Actor Exposed!

The testimonials on the website are unverifiable and fake! ICTM gives you the option to either watch the video or read the text version … and in the video section I caught a Fiverr Actor! Check out his Fiverr page … he even posted the fake testimonial there for you to watch!
I also believe he is the voice actor in the presentation video, as he also offers voice acting services on Fiverr.
5. Other Evidence Against The Big Diabetes Lie
Below is a list of some more evidence confirming that The Big Diabetes Lie is lie in itself!
- Their video is hosted on YouTube, and they made sure to disable the comments so you cannot ask them questions.
- The ICTM website contains a lot of articles which are stolen from newspapers and medical resource sites. This essentially means that whatever you find in The Big Diabetes Lie is also stolen. Use Copyscape to verify if you want.
- On the text version of the website, the ‘Map of people we’ve helped already’ is unclickable and is not even live! If the scammer were smart, he would have known that an embedded, live map is more believable than a screenshot map.
- While trying to leave the website, a pop-up springs up, preventing you from leaving. Then you are offered a $80 discount and put under pressure to buy the eBook.
Finally, see the photos below.

So as you can see, The big Diabetes Lie is a complete, wicked scam, and so you should stay away from it! This garbage has been around for over two years now … and unfortunately no one has exposed it the way it has been done here until now. Right now it is one of the most popular products on Clickbank, with a lot of affiliates promoting it in various ways online.
My aim is to put scams like these out of business, and you can help me accomplish this by spreading the word. Share this article to your friends, medical forums, and anywhere else people with diabetes are, so that they will not waste their time and money reading a 500-page piece of crap created by an identity thief!
Final Recommendation: DON’T BUY The Big Diabetes Lie!
Please continue visiting your doctor and following his recommendations, as it is still the only way you can deal with diabetes right now. Also keep praying for and supporting medical scientists who are still toiling all day and all night in search for a cure.
If you have read The Big Diabetes Lie, please share your remarks about it below so that it can help others.
did you try the book already for you to say that its a scam?
Why does he have to try it to say it is a scam. They exposed all the lies noted, so the book is phony and just somebody else work. The things in the book may help you to better health, so buy it. But don’t buy it believing all the crap about the ICTM or Sidorov. That is all I need to know.
Totally…..Bullshit……..Scam……you should be ashamed and reprimanded !!!!!!!!
According to Amazon.com reviews, well over 50% of those that have tried the program have achieved significant results. The relationship to inflamation and diseases is well established, and Dr. Pearmutter a well known neurologist has confirmed this, and many of the dietary shifts that work as well. It doesn’t look like Contra Health Scams has actually evaluated this, regardless of the promotional video production
Steve,
Actually, most of the 5-star reviews of this product at Amazon are not due to its effectiveness in reversing diabetes, but due to either its interesting-to-read, conspiracy theory-laden content, or the fact that they received what they paid for on time. In fact, only one chapter, the last chapter to be precise, is actually set aside for diabetes treatment … and when you check the reviews talking specifically about its diabetes reversing effectiveness, then you’ll quickly realize that it is a scam.
Again, no one here has refuted the facts I laid out in this review. This scammer simply took medical/scientific information available online, packaged it into a book, stole someone’s identity and is now selling free information with it. If this does not turn you off, I wonder.
In a nutshell, a scam is a scam.
Or….. most of the 5-star reviews are paid reviews. Simply find someone who needs money, and then you pay them to write a Fascinatingly fabolous amazingly GREAT fake review, and voila, you get a 5-star review.
Don’t need your advice and I don’t like you already

so now the credit card information I provided for the Book, is in danger? i should cancel the card ?
So now what? I fell for it and purchased it just yesterday, $37 I don’t really have. I immediately contacted their website for a refund, so now I guess I wait and see.
I used diaRemedium Andy it’s 100% effect in reversing my diabetes! I am 100% insulin free and feel like a ne wipers on. I am still staying away from sugar as a whole but am enjoying sugar indirectly!
Buzz words like ‘hidden’ ‘secret’ about ‘their’ method while even supplying links to all the information freely available shows how full of shit they are. And referring to ‘something you may have in your kitchen’ that can help, without saying *what* it is… just sales pitch.
[…] The site is titled “The International Council For Truth In Medicine” which sounds impressive and a “good idea”. After all, the web is full of untruths isn’t it? Unfortunately there is no such organisation as the ICTM. A Google search will only find entries for that site with the video. It first appeared a few years ago and has since been thoroughly debunked by numerous organisations. Visit site here. Opens in a new tab page. […]
Surely this sort of scam is illegal? Is there anything we can do against the perpetrator?
Best way to put them out of business is to for someone who has purchased the product to put it online for everyone else to grab for free.
Send me a copy and I’ll do it right now. Or, post it up on Facebook for all to see!
i listened and listened to the presentation and got sick of hearing same information again and again. finally when i was tired, there was a pressure to click on the button to buy. so i searched on google to verify their authenticity. good luck, found it fraud
I have bought this product for my aunt and its really effective. She is feeling better than before. That’s why now I m sharing this product with others with my review website.
If I supply you with my email address, would you send me a copy? Thank you.
I’ve heard about this diabetes product this is so helpful in treatment but I would like to recommend please do some exercise too. If you can’t go for walk outside you can do yoga at home. Yoga by Zoe is best product that I know about.
Lie or not, it works. I am a type 2 diabetic and have been for the past 6 years. Was up in the 360’s when diagnosed, placed on insulin. Now, after following the program for 6 weeks, I have to get off my meds because it was bringing my sugar down in the 50’s and 60’s. I will see my doctor soon and have my prescriptions off officially.
Hi Michael
If it works then it should be shares for free ……………….. If Someone was genuinely concerned for peoples well being they would not be trying to financially benefit from book sales
Hiya Mike. If I give you my email address, would you send me a copy? Thank you.
Hi Michael
pleaese please please help share the information. Am a type 2, diagnosed recently and desperately need solution. Thanks
You say he’s an identity theif, but one click on the Facebook and Twitter links above go to a profile that openly says he’s the founder. I think he’s the same person, I can’t see anything claiming that he’s a doctor, he just has a lab coat in the picture. So that part is deceptive, but not false. I don’t think identity theft is involved here, just deceptive marketing.
Hello wai,
I don’t mean to be disrespectful but are you this easily deceived?
Again, no. That is NOT Max Sidorov. His Facebook now states that he’s the founder of a community known as the International Truth In Medicine Council (ITMC). That information wasn’t there when I wrote this review back in March last year.
But look again at his website theitmc.com. Is it the same as ICTM’s? Besides, ITMC was launched in September 2016 while ICTM as been around since 2013. And neither ITMC nor Max Sidorov’s pages states that he wrote The Big Diabetes Lie.
So my review is accurate. This is identity theft!
If you watch the video, you quickly realize it offers nothing but emotions and hope. If they had real medical information that could help people, why would they not tell you in the video? They want to hook you in and tie up emotions with your hope of curing a disease. For most people, you can’t. You can mitigate the disease, but you can’t cure it. The long video offers nothing. Use you intelligence and ask yourself one question. Why are all these so called doctors not giving you their medical backgrounds or full names. Why? Because they don’t exist.
So true! People are SO desperate for a cure they WANT to believe…

This has been stolen from Jon Gaunt. He invented this. He also cured bad aids and world hunger.

I did nit give perrrrrrrrmission for you to publish my latest scam
I was in the process of buying it, thanks for the warning
I watched the slick presentation regarding the Vedda blood sugar remedy. These scams all have similar elements of direct selling in place. the presenter always uses the turn of phrase that in a few minutes he will reveal the all the secret of the fantastic cure that the drug companies are trying to hide and are striving to get his site taken down to protect their billions of dollars drug business.. ” And in a few moments I will reveal all ” but first here is Joe Blow, his sick and dying child was asking Mummy, Will I die? and I had to turn my face away, his mother had tears pouring down her face, as she said chokingly, The doctors are doing their best and we will not let you die, Will I still go to heaven mummy. We are trying this new cure, it does not taste so… Read more »
So does anyone have a copy of the ebook to share? Or a look where to find it?? I’m interested to see the foods to eat and not eat… And how to stop snacking on junk food…
It is indeed a great joy to know that herbal medication can cure DIABETES totally. My sister was dying of diabetes even as she was restricted to some food, out of frustration I went online looking for help for her medical condition, I came across a note about doctor Uduehi’s herbal medication. I contacted him and explain in details the medical condition of my sister, I order for the medication and my sister’s sugar level totally reversed, became normal, after the herbal treatment. Her body is back to normal shape, she has been eating normal food just like everyone else for a year plus now. Thank you doctor.
