Don’t waste your time and money trying the Diabetes Freedom program by “George Reilly’ for your type 2 diabetes because it is a scam! In this review, you’re going to find out all you need to know about this product, who created it, and why you should keep your distance from it. So let’s begin!
Diabetes Freedom has been around since last year. This program contains a special ‘shake recipe’ which will reverse your type 2 diabetes for good without drugs or making any changes to your diet. According to Reilly, he has discovered the real cause of diabetes. Forget about everything you have been told by the health industry about diabetes, he says. Instead, a ‘tiny lipid molecule’ is the real cause of type 2 diabetes and all you have to do to get rid of it is to drink a special shake recipe. Reilly claims that he used this shake to reverse his diabetes and lose ’42 pounds of dangerous fat.’ He announces that ‘37,839 diabetes sufferers’ have already used the ‘breakthrough’ found in his program to ‘free themselves’ from the disease.
Interesting.
So how did Reilly come across this miracle diabetes solution? Let’s find out, shall we?
Backstory of Diabetes Freedom
After scaring his listeners by repeating unpleasant facts about diabetes, George Reilly proceeds to tell us the familiar sob story that we have heard a thousand times before. First, he begins by telling us how severe his type 2 diabetes was and how much he suffered from it. Then one day, he lost consciousness at work (apparently, he fell into a ‘hyperosmolar, nonketotic coma) and found himself in a hospital bed, where one ‘Dr. Richardson was busy telling his wife that his leg needed to be amputated by the next day. Reilly’s eldest son Mike happened to walk into the room with his 4-year-old son Lucas at the same time the amputation was being discussed. Poor Lucas overheard the discussion and burst into tears, forcing the doctor to delay the amputation but not without warning them that his grandfather had only ‘8 weeks or less’ to amputate the leg or else diabetes will kill him.
According to Reilly, this tearful outburst by his grandson was what led them to discover the miracle cure for type 2 diabetes. You see, witnessing that emotional outburst and the thought of seeing his wife sad and miserable if his leg eventually gets amputated forced Reilly to vow to ‘fight’ in order to get a cure. So for the next two weeks, he spent 6 hours daily on his laptop poring through research papers on the internet and in libraries. Then through the help of his younger son’s Japanese fiancee, Reilly got introduced to one ‘Professor James Freeman’. This professor is allegedly famous in Japan for his ‘pioneering research in diabetes’ – and he was developing ‘a powerful new nutritional method’ that will reverse your diabetes without drugs, diet, or exercise.
Long story short, Freeman flies all the way from Japan to the US to lecture Reilly on the true cause of type 2 diabetes (details in the science section). Then he hands Reilly a binder containing shake recipes which he has been using to reverse the diabetes of his patients’ in ‘Japan, Dubai, and Singapore’. Reilly uses it on himself and 3 weeks later, his diabetes was gone and he had lost 42 pounds. As a result, his scheduled amputation was canceled by his astonished doctor. Yay!
Now he wants you to reverse your type 2 diabetes too by using Professor Freeman’s protocol, which he has now packaged in a program called Diabetes Freedom.
Okay.
Science Behind Diabetes Freedom
According to Reilly, Professor James Freeman told him that the root cause of type 2 diabetes is not overconsumption of carbs or sugar. Instead, the root cause is a ‘tiny lipid molecule’ and a ‘foreign compound’ called ceramide. According to Freeman, scientists at the University of Utah have recently discovered that this ‘toxic molecule’ causes type 2 diabetes by ‘forcing’ fat cells to enter the bloodstream and ‘clog’ your vital organs, especially your pancreas, liver, and heart. He even claims that when fat clogs up your pancreas, that stops the organ from producing insulin, which then leads to type 2 diabetes. Freeman claims that all diabetic patients have ‘very high levels’ of ceramide, and it is ‘near impossible’ to reverse your diabetes if you don’t get rid of it first.
But don’t fret, assures Reilly, because they have discovered how to flush out ceramide compounds from your body so that you can free yourself from type 2 diabetes. According to him, all you have to do to get rid of ceramide is to ‘add a powerful blend of phytonutrients to your diet.’ He claims that phytonutrients (compounds derived from plants) ‘target and destroy’ ceramide, as well as neutralize foreign compounds in the blood. He goes on to say that phytonutrients ‘repair DNA damage from exposure to toxins’, ‘fight against inflammation’, and melt all the fat clogging up your heart, liver, and pancreas.
Now, what are the ‘phytonutrients’ in question?
According to Reilly, the most powerful of them all is ‘flavonoids, lignans, and prophenylphenols.’ These plant compounds are found in food items such as grapes, dark chocolate, carrots, etc … and are easily available at the grocery store. However, the ‘key’ to benefiting from these foods is not just to eat them at random, but to ‘combine them in specific amounts’ and take them ‘at certain times of the day for them to work.’ Doing this, Reilly claims, will ‘create a powerful catalytic effect’ and ‘increase their potency.’
Diabetes Freedom supposedly has the perfect combination of these powerful phytonutrients in the form of shakes. Just drink one shake every morning and watch your blood sugar levels go down and your type 2 diabetes disappear!
How Much Does it Cost?
Diabetes Freedom costs $37. Reilly claims that this amount is just to cover his ‘running costs’ and not because he wants to profit from it. But rest assured that this is a lie designed by the scammers to make you believe that he’s doing you a favor while actually, they are out to get your money. In fact, $37 is just an entry price. Just wait until you join the program only to discover that you need to buy their upsells to progress!
Anyway, Reilly claims that Diabetes Freedom comes with a ‘365 days’ money back guarantee but if I were you, I’d request my refund within 60 days of purchase (the mandatory refund policy of the retailer Clickbank).
Now to the fun part. Why is Diabetes Freedom a scam?
1. The Owner is Unverifiable (Does NOT Exist)
George Reilly says that he is a 61-year-old former police officer who now works in ‘a large security company’ in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Apart from this and the aforementioned info about his family in the backstory, there is no other information about him. Good luck finding him anywhere on social media to verify his identity. If I were you though, I won’t bother because the man claiming to be George Reilly in the video presentation is clearly a paid actor!

Another thing I noticed is that in the video, the narrator’s voice isn’t fitting well with the moving image of the paid actor. Something is definitely off in the video – it’s like the paid actor’s voice was dubbed over with that of a different voice-over actor.
Anyway, let’s move on!
2. Fake, Doctored Testimonials
Diabetes Freedom features a bunch of testimonials in the video presentation. First, we are shown three videos of obviously paid actors reading their lines about how the program lowered their blood sugar levels and reversed their type 2 diabetes. Then toward the end of the video, Reilly shows us what we are told to believe are testimonials from Facebook. But as you can clearly see from the screenshot below, they are fake, made with stock photos. This is not the first time I’ve seen this (see Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic review) so rest assured that you are NOT looking at real testimonials!

3. Exploits Scientific Research to Sell Scam
As we learned earlier, Reilly says that ceramides – not your diet habits – are the root cause of type 2 diabetes. He based this claim on scientific research done by the University of Utah, which supposedly found that ceramides force fat to clog up your liver, heart, and pancreas. Well, I happened to find the study Reilly was citing and indeed, the researchers linked excessive ceramide activity to the development of prediabetes and diabetes. But does it mean that ceramides are the root cause of type 2 diabetes? Absolutely not!
Another thing is that the study (which was further explained on the University of Utah’s website), was carried out on mice. This means that the research hasn’t even been replicated using human subjects yet so it is still too early to make definite claims like what we’re seeing with Diabetes Freedom. This is a textbook example of scammers exploiting scientific research still in their infant stage to sell scams. Don’t fall for it!
Final Recommendation: DON’T BUY Diabetes Freedom. It is A SCAM!
