Ultra Omega Burn by ‘Derek Evans’ is another weight loss scam you must avoid. In this review you’ll find out all you need to know about this weight loss pill and all the reasons why you should avoid it like a plague!
Created in 2015, Ultra Omega Burn claims to contain information about a ‘powerful nutrient’ supposedly touted by ‘researchers’ to be ‘the answer to breaking through ANY weight loss plateau or stubborn fat area.’ The said nutrient is none other but palmitoleic acid, aka Omega-7 monounsaturated fatty acid. According to Evans, Harvard researchers discovered that ‘a very small amount’ of this fatty acid led to:
- Fat cells opening up and releasing its contents
- Normal blood sugar levels and reduced insulin resistance
- ‘Block of 96% of arterial plaque
- Improved digestion
- Increased collagen and repair of skin cells.
Evans also claimed that Cleveland Clinic researchers found out that it can reduce chronic inflammation, which is a known cause of weight gain.
But don’t be taken in by these whitewashed lies. Here are the reasons why Ultra Omega Burn is a scam:
1. Derek Evans Does NOT Exist!
Derek Evans never told us who he is and what qualifies him to bring us this weight loss miracle. All he did was to use a stock video of a model pretending to be a doctor (here he is in another Shutterstock video), and to provide another stock photo next to his name in the text version of the website.

I believe this should be pretty obvious to anyone who watched the video. Not much to say here.
2. Fake Testimonials With Stock Photos
All the testimonials featured on Ultra Omega Burn are all made with stock photos. In fact, some of the stock photos used in Ultra Omega Burn were also used as testimonials of Pure Natural Healing, an alternative medicine scam I exposed back in April 2016.
I don’t have the time to trace all the testimonial photos, but here are some examples:
- ‘Julie Cooper’ is actually a stock photo from iStock;
- ‘Kara’ is a stock photo you can buy from 123RF and Alamy;
- ‘Kelly Cooper’ is a stock photo you can buy from Dreamstime.
As you can see, fake, fake, fake.
3. Lies About Palmitoleic Acid
Derek Evans wasn’t being honest with you when he was talking about palmitoleic acid. To start with, he did NOT tell you that this Omega 7 fatty acid is produced naturally by the body and you don’t need to supplement it. Again, he did not tell you that even though scientific studies on animals have yielded good results, studies on humans have yielded mixed results. The original researchers at Harvard acknowledged this, speculating that the dietary sources of palmitoleic acid also contain the bad fat palmitic acid, which antagonizes its effects. However, a 1994 study conducted on 34 men with high blood cholesterol found that palmitoleic acid can increase the blood’s LDL (bad cholesterol) just like palmitic acid – which kinda kills this speculation [NCBI].
Another study conducted on 3,630 men and women between 1992 and 2006 found that high palmitoleic acid levels resulted in reduced LDL (bad cholesterol) and increased HDL (good cholesterol), BUT it caused an increase in triglycerides and increased insulin resistance [NCBI].
Fact is, palmitoleic acid is showing some promise of being a useful supplement for those with cardiovascular disease and obesity. However, it is still too early to say anything definitive and more research is needed.
Final Conclusion: DON’T BUY Ultra Omega Burn. It is A SCAM!

I second that Derek Evans is a scam! I placed an order which I never received after he got my money and tried to email him but it is a fake email. Do not buy this product!
I am waiting for a month for 2 orders. He got my money and I get no product! No way to contact them.. What a slug!
I ordered a bottle (could be worth a try, money back guarantee, pay by paypal, what could go wrong ?…..). As yet no result other than over 20 emails from “Derek Evans” trying to flog me other miracle cures and one from ‘Maddy’ (customer support) advising me they are awaiting delivery of new stock.. No suggestion they were out of stock when placing the order tho. Suspicion meter in the red. I’ve also found them impossible to contact unless you want to place an order!
I’m still waiting for my order to arrive. Meanwhile I receive daily emails from him offering all sorts of cures. What gets me is he makes us wait 45 minutes on his video (yes, once I timed him!), before we find out how to order (or not to order) the said product. I made allowance for delivery because I live in Perth Australia, but after reading all this feedback I’m getting worried.
I fell for it,, ordered it on 12-14-17. Still not received by 1-4-18.. lack of interest in my emails,, no phone # to call
I really hate to say this, but I ordered the Ultra mega burn and I got it awhile later. Maybe 3 weeks? I have been taking 1 a day and I was shocked with my weight loss. So far, in 1 month, I have lost 10lbs. My appetite is gone and my belly is shrinking. I’m concerned about my cholesterol though, so I will have to study up on that. I am a real person.
SCAMMMMMMMMMM….So, I ordered this product, and I had an email saying your order is on its way!! with no shipping info, no tracking number, not even the details of what I even ordered and or pricing of what I ordered.. I emailed this email address twice now asking for a shipping / tracking number, the only response I get is more emails trying to sell me on these miracle pills they have.. this is a rip off SCAM!
THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER.. NO REAL EMAIL TO ASK QUESTIONS… NOTHING!!!!! I CANT BELIVE I FELL FOR THIS. AND THE CRAZY PART IS, I GOT THE 6 MONTH SUPPLY. NO TRACKING INFO.. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!
Omg I ordered too! It’s been 5 weeks!! The email said I would get it within 3-5 business days! All I get is emails trying yo get me to buy more products I’ll never get!!!! I can’t believe I fell for this!!!
I too ordered a bottle & are still awaiting delivery. I hope & pray that they will honour the payment & deliver the goods.
Thanks for the heads-up on this. The whole presentation seemed contrived. One thing that caused me to investigate the claims was his use of an edited Dr. Oz video. Now, I’m not a big fan of Dr. Oz, but “Derek” took a video from Dr. Oz’s show and edited it to look like Dr. Oz was promoting this product, but there’s a weird edit in the video when Dr. Oz is naming the oil. I tracked down the actual video and the edited out words are “sea buckthorn.” Oz was actually promoting a product from SeabuckWonders, who also make Omega-7 products. I’m surprised Oz’s people haven’t forced them to take that video down as it’s as deceptive as the fake testimonials. I’m also surprised that a number of otherwise reputable affiliates are still linking to this “Derek Evans” scam.
Thank you all for warning me. I was about to buy 3 bottles, using my American Express card. I would not use any other card, If I have a problem they are on top, always helpful in getting my money back. I would not use PayPal.
Thanks so much. I almost fell for it!
OmG! I almost fell for it. I was watching the video presentation while in bed. While halfway of it…i got up to calculate how much it cost. Then i thought of searching Ultra omega burn in google and found this testimonials.
Thank you for the heads up!.
Unfortunately,I decided to try it. So I hit the order for 3 bottles, it took me directly to Pay Pal, which I said what card to use and that was it. Now, there was no order form. No where to create an account, they just took my money thru PayPal. They would not even know where to send it. Now, I have to try and bother Chase and be on the phone forever with them. Scammed again. For an intelligent, educated person, I guess I can be extremely gullible. I feel used!! lol
Thank you all for your honesty. The research on this Derek Evans person is second to none. The testimonials were even exposed….awesome job! Now I can put my money towards something more legit!
Hmmmmmm i ordered for this product too and i was told i will get it in May, when in the month of may i did get any information no receive the product i contacted them and i got a full refund of my money , as i am talking i just received the product as promised. i will contact them to pay the money back.
I ordered Ultra omega burn and received the product promptly, in less than two months I lost 11 pounds without a diet change. It also curbed my appetite and cut down my grocery bill. Later I introduced some light exercises that helped speed up my progress. I realize there have been a lot of negative feedback and people did not receive the product. All I can say it did work for me, as it stands now I am within my target weight. Before using the product my weight would not budge no matter what I did, will I continue using it when I finish, I am not sure.
if you want omega 7 you can buy it at most vitamin shops its the same thing and for under $20.00
if you want omega 7 you can buy it at almost any vitamin shop for under $20.00
Unite that you are phony as your scam comments. Why? Because after you get through blasting ultra mega burn you are sellling other products which tells me you most likely are scamming people to!
I would have been more convinced of your critique if you had not offered an alternative. That makes you a competitor. But if the information about the website is true, it cancels my desire to try the product. Thank you very much

Studies have proven that you could use mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids to help aid weight reduction.
After keying my purchase of ultra burn and using my credit card, Its posted through paypal not MC.. What really got my attention is the initial charge of 49.95 that day , then a couple of days later I’m charged 0.44 cents.. I called my bank and she researched that the 0.44 cents was from Singapore.. So the numbers on each seperate order matched. I do not buy from Singapore and heres another fraudulent act saying it’s from New York and the product is shipped in from another Country. Sure you can be a distributor in New York but the key info should say Product Of… And that’s where you can get scammed..You are right this is not a Company I want to have anything to do with!! I called them and requested a refund, the woman sounded Chinese and says it will take 24 to 48 hours to get… Read more »
