Don’t waste your time and money trying BioFit weight loss supplement by ‘Chrissie Miller’ because it is a scam! This supplement is actually the upgraded version of the colossal scam known as Favorite Food Diet (FFD) which Contra Health Scam thoroughly exposed in a brutal review last year. BioFit is clearly the scammers’ effort to recover from that review, and we’re going to see if it will survive after this new review goes live. So sit back, grab your reading glasses (if you use one) and let’s begin!
BioFit weight loss supplement was launched around December 2020. According to Chrissie Miller, this supplement can help you lose as much as 72 pounds without having to change your diet or do ‘strenuous’ exercise. She goes on to claim that this supplement is scientifically backed, unlike other weight loss supplements in the market. She even goes as far as to blast people who make the same claims as her, saying that they are just ‘marketers basically just throwing up photoshopped before-and-after photos to make a buck.’
LOL!
By the time you finish this review, you’ll understand how blatantly hypocritical that statement of hers is. But first, let’s briefly talk about how this supplement came into existence, shall we?
Backstory of BioFit Supplement
The backstory of the BioFit weight loss supplement is basically the same as that of The Favorite Food Diet. Chrissie Miller basically repeats everything that was said over at FFD, beginning from her weight gain due to pregnancy, catching her husband Jerry looking at Instagram models, to stumbling upon a long forum post containing the weight loss ‘secret’ which she eventually used in a milkshake to lose a whopping 98 pounds in just 4 months. Then, she somehow turned this milkshake into a supplement called BioFit. By the way, FFD is a diet program, not a supplement.
Another difference between the two backstories is in the so-called weight loss ‘secret’ found in the long forum post. In my FFD review, I proved beyond every reasonable doubt that the author completely made that part up by doctoring a scientific article. So naturally, the scammers swapped it with something they hope will be more believable. Let’s look into it, shall we?
Science Behind BioFit Supplement
The scientific basis of BioFit supplement is similar to that of FFD in that they both talk about how probiotics are the ‘secret’ to losing weight. Chrissie tells us about how the author of the long forum post talked about using this weight loss ‘secret’ before meals, as well as in your desserts. She then goes on to claim that if you want to lose weight and keep it off forever, ‘all you have to do is to rebalance your gut flora.’
To prove her claim, Chrissie cites this Quartz article which cites some studies linking low gut flora to weight issues in obese people. But she conveniently left out the part where the article stated that the studies do not prove that low gut flora causes obesity. She did not also mention that the article didn’t say anything about probiotics being the solution to the problem. This is because that’s exactly what BioFit is: A probiotic supplement.
So what are the ingredients?
Ingredients of BioFit Supplement
The ‘miracle’ ingredients of BioFit weight loss supplement include
- Bacillus subtilis
- Bifidobacterium longum
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus
- Bifidobacterium breve
- Lactobacillus ‘casei’ (she actually meant L. gasseri)
- L. ‘plantarium’ (she actually meant L. plantarum)
- Lactobacillus acidophilus
Chrissie Miller spends a significant chunk of the video presentation hyping up the weight loss capabilities of the ingredients but I’m not going to waste my time. In fact, I have already looked into some of these ingredients in detail elsewhere (check out my Nucific Bio-X4 review) and so I’m not going to repeat myself … especially when we are dealing with a scam!
How Much Does it Cost?
A bottle of BioFit supplement costs $69. There are two other plans available:
- 3 bottles costing $177
- 6-bottles costing $294
The multiple-bottle plans come with ‘free shipping.’ All plans are covered by what Chrissie Miller calls a ‘100% satisfaction, 180-day money back guarantee.’ If I were you, however, I would request my money back within 60 days of purchase by contacting the retailer (Clickbank) directly. That’s the only way you are going to get your refund!
Now to the part you all have been waiting for. Why is BioFit weight loss supplement a scam?
1. The Owner is a Paid Actor (Does NOT Exist)
Chrissie Miller calls herself a 43-year old mom of three who isn’t a ‘doctor’, ‘nutritionist’ or ‘a guest lecturer at Yale University.’ Instead, she’s ‘you’, a ‘real woman’ who, like every other woman, struggled with losing baby fat, binge eating, fitting into clothes, and trying every diet out there without success.
There are multiple problems though. First, this is exactly the same profile of Chrissie Mitchell, the supposed author of FFD. In fact, check out the video of Chrissie Mitchell talking about herself, and then compare it with that of Chrissie Miller. Then you’ll realize that we are dealing with a paid actor. This is not a coincidence!
Still not convinced? This next finding will convince you.
2. Chrissie Miller Doctored Her Own Testimonial Photo
As you’ll recall, Chrissie Miller claims that she lost up to 98 pounds in four months using BioFit weight loss supplement. To prove it, she showed us a before-after photo of her supposedly going from 221 pounds to 123 pounds. However. that’s a lie because her before-photo is actually a stock photo you can buy from 123RF, iStock, Adobe Stock, Shutterstock…
As you can see, the scammers behind BioFit swapped the face of the stock photo to make it look identical to the after photo. This is not the first time I have uncovered this kind of deceit. Check out my ProVen supplement review as well as my review of the now-defunct scam Fat Decimator to see more examples.
This finding alone cements the fact that Chrissie Miller is a paid actor reading a script. In other words, BioFit weight loss supplement is a scam! Also, remember that statement of hers bashing her competitors as peddlers of photoshopped testimonials?
3. Fake Testimonials With Stock, Stolen Photos
At this point, it wouldn’t surprise you that the testimonials featured on BioFit supplement’s website are all fake, will it? That’s what I thought. First, the scammers made sure to recycle the same fake testimonials used in FFD. Then they topped it off with the following:
- ‘Olive Monson’ is a stock photo you can buy from Shutterstock;
- ‘Rebecca Butler’ is a free stock photo you can download from Pexels.
The other testimonial photos are untraceable but I mean, what’s the point now? The scam has already been exposed!
4. Twists Scientific Information to Sell Scam
As I already pointed out in the science section of this review, Chrissie Miller tried to use a Quartz article to prove her claim that all you need to lose weight is to ‘rebalance your gut flora.’ That’s false, as unbalanced gut flora isn’t the only reason why people gain weight. This oversimplification of complex issues tactic is always used by scammers to deceive unsuspecting people. Thankfully, Contra Health Scam is here to expose them!
As for probiotics being a solution to weight gain and obesity, I’ve already covered it in detail in my Nucific Bio-X4 review as well as in my FFD diet. The summary? There is no evidence that probiotics help overweight and obese people lose weight.
Final Recommendation: DON’T BUY BioFit Weight Loss Supplement. It is A SCAM!
Blacklisted Website: GoBiofit.com
Clickbank is the retailer of this supplement. So if you have made the mistake of buying it, ask for your money back by contacting them directly. They are a legit company that takes their refund policy very seriously.
